Do Naturopathic doctors work with other health care professionals?
Yes! Naturopathic doctors work with other conventional and alternative health care professionals such as medical doctors, chiropractors, acupuncturists, massage therapists and other professionals when the need arises. Every health care professional has value and it is in your best interest that we are all working as partners for your best interest.

How is naturopathic care different from conventional medical care?
Well, in several ways.  First of all, Naturopathic doctors work with patients to build a strong foundation of health by coaching, encouraging, and personally designing programs. Secondly, Naturopathic doctors provide more than relief from symptoms. Naturopathic doctors are committed to getting to the cause of the problem which should greatly reduce dependence on pills, giving you a longer lasting, deeper level of healing. Naturopathic doctors believe that your body, when given the right tools, has the innate ability to heal itself.  They use low-force, non toxic interventions to encourage your body to heal itself. Healing might mean incorporating one or more of the following: diet and lifestyle changes; vitamin and nutrient supplementation; botanicals or herbals, medicine; homeopathy; hydrotherapy; and physical therapy to encourage your body to heal and restore itself to optimum balance.
