Meet Colleen Bierdz, LMT

Hello my name is Colleen Bierdz. I am happy to be a new member of the Olive Branch team offering massage therapy.

In Dec. of 2013 I graduated with high honors from Elgin Community College with a Certificate of completion in the Massage Therapy Department. While I enjoyed all of my classes during that year, I was especially fond of the clinic classes that provided the opportunity for students to learn the importance of touch and how it can benefit our clients. We were taught to use our touch through massage techniques while working on clients from the very first week of school.

These clinics allowed us to talk to the clients afterward. We were able to learn how effective our massage had been. Many clients expressed a feeling of calmness and complete relaxation.
